Alexandra Park School could soon be run and funded in a different way.

The governors are consulting people and taking steps to turn the school into an Academy.

If they get academy status it means their money will come directly from the Department for Education, rather than Haringey Council.

Academies also don’t have to work within certain government rules, such as following the national curriculum.

There will be an information evening for parents/carers on 17th March at 6pm in the School Library.
